A Booking Service for Coach Charter
We arrange coach, minibus and chauffeur-car charter, driver included, for groups on the move in Australia. The vehicles belong to accredited, insured partner operators, who also run the trips. We handle enquiry, quote and booking.
Two parties, two jobs
Our side: take the request, choose an operator, have the trip priced, confirm the booking and pass on any change. The operator's side: supply the coach, employ and roster the driver, hold the accreditation to carry passengers for hire, and insure the vehicle.
Once the coach is moving, the driver follows the operator on safety, route and working hours. Pickup times, addresses and passenger numbers go through us, so changes travel one way and nothing is missed.
The paperwork an operator needs
Accreditation for passenger transport, issued by the state or territory where the operator works, and insurance at the level Australian law sets. Names vary. In NSW a charter coach operator holds Long Distance, Tourist or Charter accreditation. Victoria accredits through Safe Transport Victoria, Queensland through the Department of Transport and Main Roads, and Tasmania through Transport Services Tasmania.
Drivers carry their own. An MR licence covers a two-axle coach over 8 t and an HR licence three axles or more. On top of that sits a state bus driver authority, such as the NSW Bus Driver Authority, renewed every three years.
Things we leave alone
We run no depot, keep no coaches and employ no drivers. We keep no rate card either: each operator prices each trip for its date, hours, distance and vehicle. There are no seats for sale on scheduled services or tours. A booking is always a private vehicle for your group alone.
Picking the operator
The first filter is accreditation and insurance. Next comes a vehicle big enough, free on your date, and parked near enough that the coach is not driving a long way empty. Local habits help. A firm doing weekly Sydney Airport pickups is already on the airport's registration system with a working e-tag. A Launceston firm that runs Cradle Mountain days already knows the Dove Lake escort rule for tour vehicles.
Sources behind the coach notes
The rules on city, airport, port and event pages are drawn from published material: airports and port authorities, local councils, the NHVR, state transport agencies, parks services and the venues. Drive times and distances are rounded. Rules shift from season to season, so name any rule your day depends on and ask for it to be confirmed when the trip is priced.
Questions
Are you an operator?
No. We book; the partner operator runs the trip and employs the driver.
Why are no prices shown?
Every trip is priced by its operator for its own date, hours, distance and vehicle. You see the figure on the quote.
Do you book trips in New Zealand?
No. New Zealand appears only as a port on cruise itineraries. Every trip is in Australia.

Numbers, dates, stops. An operator prices it and the quote lands with you.
