Chauffeured hire cars fall outside the Disability Standards for Accessible Public Transport. If a passenger uses a wheelchair, ask for an accessible vehicle instead.
Working with the coaches
On event days, give the car its own pickup points. Coach set-down zones are often short-stay and busy, and a car waiting in one gets moved on. Airports and venues often have separate rules for cars and buses, so the operator plans each vehicle's stops separately. Send flight numbers for airport pickups so the driver can follow delays.
